KPU Sets 2024 Election Results After The Constitutional Court's Decision

The General Election Commission (KPU) has determined the results of the 2024 General Election after the decision on the dispute over the general election results (PHPU) volume 2 of the Constitutional Court.

The determination is contained in KPU Decree Number 1192 of 2024 concerning the Third Amendment to KPU Decree Number 360 of 2024 concerning the Determination of the Results of the Presidential and Vice Presidential Elections, Members of the House of Representatives, Provincial Regional House of Representatives, and the Regional House of Representatives of Regency/City Nationally in the 2024 General Election.

"Alhamdulillah, we are grateful for the open plenary meeting process. The election results after the PHPU's volume 2 decision at the Constitutional Court which was completed on August 19, and we have written it in the minutes and decrees," said KPU chairman Mochammad Afifuddin after attending the Open Pleno Meeting. Determination of Election Results at the KPU, Jakarta, reported by ANTARA, Thursday, August 22.

It is said that the entire PHPU series has been completed and the results of the 2024 General Election have been obtained.

The results of the 2024 General Election determined in the plenary meeting are the General Election of Members of the Maluku Provincial DPRD, the Election of Members of the Lahat Regency DPRD, the Election of Members of the Arfak Mountains Regency DPRD, and the Election of Members of the Paniai Regency DPRD.

Meanwhile, KPU member August Mellaz is also grateful for the implementation of the 2024 General Election after the PHPU volume 2 results have been determined.

"Of course we would like to express our deepest gratitude to the Indonesian people who have participated in the implementation of the election, as well as to other election organizers, apart from the KPU, there is Bawaslu (Election Supervisory Agency), DKPP (Especial Election Organizers Board)," he said.

Mellaz also thanked the press, which since the 2024 election stage was published to always report various relevant information needed by the public.
