Students Leave The Pancasila Gate Of The DPR Building, The Road Is Opened Again

JAKARTA - Hundreds of demonstrations in front of the Pancasila Gate, Jalan Gerbang Pemuda, Glora Village, Tanah Abang District, Central Jakarta, finally dispersed on Thursday, August 22 evening at around 19.15 WIB.

Hundreds of masses dispersed gradually. Several groups walked a long march towards Palmerah Station towards their respective destinations.

Meanwhile, until 19.30 WIB, security officers were still at the Pancasila Gate. They are still on guard.

A few minutes later, suddenly a group of students in blue white uniforms appeared wearing a switer jacket in front of the Pancasila Gate. The group of students tried to provoke the security forces by throwing the cone of the road divider.

However, the officers immediately responded to this action and immediately pushed a group of students back towards the GBK Senayan Main Stadium.

At 19.40 WIB, the next layer of police officers also followed and walked hand in hand towards Jalan Asia Afrika which was followed by two water cannon vehicles behind it.

Meanwhile, the Jalan Gerbang Pemuda section, precisely behind the DPR Building, can be passed by two-wheeled and four-wheeled vehicles. However, the traffic flow on Jalan Gerbang Pemuda was slightly stalled due to the large number of queues of passing vehicles.

In addition, a number of cleaners have also been deployed to carry out the sweep process in front of the Pancasila Gate.
