Bahlil Alludes To The Figure Of The "King Of Java", Megawati Laughs

Chairman of the PDI-P (PDIP) Megawati Soekarnoputri was interested when she learned that the General Chairperson of the Golkar Party, Bahlil Lahadalia, mentioned that there was a "King of Java" figure whom he considered in power.

Megawati admitted that she only learned about Bahlil's statement this morning, when she read the newspaper while having breakfast. This was revealed by Megawati when reading a speech to the cadres.

"I laughed at him, like this, he said the Javanese king. Then, hih. I mean, he said like this. It's like he just understands what the Javanese King means. Because he's an NTT man," said Megawati, Thursday, August 22.

The 5th President, who is also the daughter of the proclaimer, joked and said he wanted to get acquainted with the figure of the Javanese King, which Bahlil mentioned.

"That's why I was having breakfast, laughing, saying there was a Javanese King. Then I thought I wanted to get to know the Javanese King too. Yes, really, since when was there a Javanese King?" Megawati said with laughter from the cadres.

Chairman of the Golkar Party DPP Bahlil Lahadalia said the figure of the Javanese King in the XI Golkar National Conference (Munas), Wednesday, August 21.

The moment occurred when Bahlil explained his vision and mission before being appointed as the new chairman of Golkar.

"So we have to be more patented, because if we play around, we will be in danger. I just want to tell you not to try to mess with this item," he said.

However, Bahlil did not explicitly specify who the figure of the Javanese King was. He only gave a warning in front of hundreds of Golkar cadres who attended the party's National Conference bearing the banyan tree.

"I'm nervous about this stuff. I'll tell you. I've seen this item, right. I don't need to reveal it," Bahlil added.

The Golkar XI National Conference has been completed by appointing Bahlil as chairman of Golkar by acclamation. The National Conference was then closed by President Joko Widodo and attended by the elected president Prabowo Subianto and his deputy Gibran Rakabuming Raka.

In addition, the closing of the Golkar XI National Conference was also attended by the elite party of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) who supported the Prabowo-Gibran government.
