Four Children 11-14 Years Old Who Drive Stolen Cars In Minneapolis Shot

JAKARTA - Four children aged 11 to 14 who were driving around Minneapolis with stolen cars were shot by an unknown person. One of the critical victims.

The shooting took place in the early hours of Sunday, August 18. Minneapolis Police Chief Brian O'Hara said the shooting victims were two boys and two girls. The identities of the four children were not named by the police.

An 11-year-old boy driving the stolen car was arrested, O'Hara said.

The attacker who opened fire on the stolen white Kia is still being burned down by the police. The motive for the shooting is still under investigation.

Preliminary investigations showed that five minors were in a stolen Kia car driving in the area as a dark sedan began to follow them and opened fire on them with automatic fire, O'Hara said.

30 cartridges were found at the scene.

"We believe more bullets were fired because some of the bullet casings may be in suspected vehicles," O'Hara said.

The police chief said the driver of the stolen car, an 11-year-old boy who was not injured in the shooting, was detained but then handed over to his parents.
