Woman Victim Of Robbery Who Died In Gambir Plans To Get Married In The Near Future

JAKARTA - A young woman with the initials KRA who died as a result of falling from a motorbike and being dragged on Hasyim Ashari Street, Gambir District, Central Jakarta, plans to marry her lover in the near future. But fate said otherwise, KRA died as a result of a crime.

"The victim rode a motorbike with her future husband from Pulogadung to Cengkareng. They don't know the way so they use Google Map and are directed through Harmoni," said Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Central Jakarta Metro Police, AKBP Chandra Mata Rohansyah to reporters, Tuesday, August 20.

Then when the two stopped Traffic Light (TL) or Harmoni red light, they began to be followed by two suspects, SNA alias S (21) and APR alias D (27).

As the victim's motorbike approached ITC Roxy Mas, the two perpetrators immediately launched their action. One of the perpetrators with the initials SNA immediately took the bag belonging to the KRA victim who was sitting in the back seat.

"Before Roxy, the victim's bag was pulled by the perpetrator. The victim's motorbike swayed and fell. The victim was seriously injured in the back," he said.

After getting the target item, the perpetrator fled with the stolen goods. Meanwhile, the victim's lover immediately took KRA to the hospital. Next, E made a report to the Central Jakarta Metro Police.

"When arrested, the two suspects with the initials SNA and APR were positive for drugs. It was known after a urine test was carried out after the arrest, and the results were positive," said AKBP Chandra.

The two suspects often used the proceeds of crime to buy drugs.

"The victim was random (random), a specialist in robbery. The proceeds of theft were to buy drugs," he said.
