Rizieq Shihab's Persistent Supporters, Still Come To East Jakarta District Court Even Though Advised Not

JAKARTA - The masses of supporters of Rizieq Shihab are still persistent in coming to the East Jakarta District Court (PN). Whereas previously, both Rizieq, the attorney for the law, and the police had issued a warning for supporters to not come to the East Jakarta District Court.

Based on VOI monitoring, the supporters of Rizieq Shihab who arrived were still dominated by women. They gathered at several points. One of them, gathered under a pedestrian bridge (JPO).

The police, using loudspeakers, continued to appeal to Rizieq Shihab's supporters not to be grouped in the crowd and implement health protocols.

"We constantly urge you to adhere to health protocols. Ladies and gentlemen always wear masks and keep your distance," said a police officer.

On the other hand, the traffic flow on Dr. Sumarno Street right in front of the East Jakarta District Court was observed smoothly. Although there was a crowd of supporters of Rizieq Shihab.

"The two-way traffic in front of the District Court is running smoothly. The community is also not disturbed by activities that can run smoothly," said East Jakarta Police Traffic Center, Police Commissioner Telly Bahuwte.
