Cak Imin: Indeed, This Politics Is So Fast, I Ask Mas Anies To Be Patient

JAKARTA - Chairman of the National Awakening Party (PKB) Muhaimin Iskandar or Cak Imin asked former DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan to be patient in facing the dynamics of the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada.

"Indeed, this political process is so fast, I ask Mas Anies to be patient," said Cak Imin as quoted by ANTARA, Monday, August 19.

Cak Imin did not expect that the political dynamics in the 2024 Simultaneous Pilkada would occur so quickly.

Nevertheless, Cak Imin admitted that he was still intensely communicating with his former duet pair in the 2024 presidential election.

"It was too fast yesterday, I didn't expect it to be that fast. So, I haven't had time (to convey the dynamics) yet," he explained.

For information, the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS), the NasDem Party, the National Awakening Party (PKB) canceled carrying Anies Baswedan in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada.

This makes the former Governor of West Java Ridwan Kamil will walk himself into the DKI Jakarta Pilkada without an opponent because all political parties agree to support him.

Around 12 political parties have officially signed a certificate of support to carry Ridwan Kamil-Suswono as a candidate pair for governor and deputy governor in the 2024 DKI Jakarta Pilkada.

In addition to the three political parties that supported Anies previously, 9 other political parties had earlier promoted Ridwan Kamil, namely the Gerindra Party, the Golkar Party, the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI), the Democratic Party, the National Mandate Party (PA, Garuda Party, Gelora Party, Perindo Party, and the United Development Party (PPP).
