Prabowo Attends RI Anniversary Ceremony At IKN

PENAJAM - President-elect Prabowo Subianto also attended the commemoration ceremony of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia which took place in the courtyard of the State Palace of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN).

Prabowo's presence complements the ceremony held in a magnificent open field filled with national ornaments.

In the event, Prabowo sat in the front row with President Joko Widodo, at the Honorary Stage which was specially prepared for important guests.

This ceremony was also attended by a number of high-ranking officials to community leaders, with strict security from the Paspampres and the TNI and Polri.

This year's series of agendas to commemorate the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia was held in two locations simultaneously and connected (hybrid), namely the State Palace of the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) and at the Merdeka Palace, Jakarta.

President Joko Widodo directly leads the Commemoration Ceremony of the Seconds of Proclamation in the context of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at the State Palace of IKN. Meanwhile, Vice President Ma'ruf Amin led the ceremony at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta.

The 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia is also a special momentum because for the first time the Heritage Flag was flown during the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day in the new capital city.

This year, the theme of the Indonesian Independence Day is "Nusantara Baru Indonesia Maju" which shows the momentum of Indonesia's transition, namely in welcoming the new capital city of the archipelago, and the transition of government.

A number of high-ranking state officials who were also present at IKN included MPR Chairman Bambang Susatyo, DPR Speaker Puan Maharani, cabinet ministers such as Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Basuki Hadimuldjono, Minister of Transportation Budi Karya Sumadi, and Minister of Religion Yaqut Cholil Qoumas.

Also Minister of State Secretary Pratikno, TNI Commander General Agus Subiyanto, and National Police Chief Listyo Sigit Prabowo.
