PKS Announces Cagub-Cawagub Jakarta On August 19, Together With KIM Usung Ridwan Kamil-Suswono?

JAKARTA - PKS stated that it has the name of the latest cagub and cawagub to be carried in the 2024 Jakarta Pilkada. The name will be announced by PKS together with coalition political parties on 19 August. "I think later the 19th will be officially announced by the candidate pair for governor of DKI," said Chairman of the PKS faction, Jazuli Juwaini, Friday, August 16. When asked about the coalition political parties whether the Forward Indonesia Coalition (KIM), Jazuli was reluctant to explain. He said, what is clear is that PKS cannot carry its own candidate pair. "Anyway, together with other parties, because PKS cannot carry it alone even though PKS is the winner of the election in DKI. But this PKS is less than 4 seats, therefore PKS must not be arrogant, jumawa, PKS must continue to establish communication with other parties in the context of the DKI election," said Jazuli. So did PKS encourage its cadre Suswono to become the cawagub Ridwan Kamil?

Related to that, Jazuli was reluctant to respond to the issue. He reiterated that the candidate pair and cawagub that will be promoted by PKS will be announced with coalition partners on Monday, August 19. "The name is the issue, yes, we can't, responding to this issue, we will be tired. Anyway, the point is that PKS will definitely announce the 19th," said Jazuli.
