Prosecutors Will Present Sandra Dewi At The Harvey Moeis Trial

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) will present Sandra Dewi as a witness in the trial of defendant Harvey Moeis in the alleged corruption case in the management of tin commodity trading in the mining business permit (IUP) area of PT Timah Tbk for the 2015-2022 period.

Sandra Dewi was included in Harvey Moeis' indictment file because of the splash of money resulting from alleged corruption.

"Of course, the witnesses in the case file will face trial in the future, including Sandra Dewi," said Head of the Attorney General's Office (AGO) Harli Siregar to VOI, Wednesday, August 14.

Referring to the indictment file, it was stated that Harvey Moeis received tens of billions of money from private smelters. Then, the money was used by various things one of them for the benefit of his family.

Some of the money was sent to his wife's personal assistant, Sandra Dewi. However, the nominal was not clearly conveyed.

"Transferring to an account in the name of Ratih Purnamasari as Sandra Dewi's Personal Assistant, which was only opened in 2021, the account was controlled by Sandra Dewi for Sandra Dewi and Harvey Moeis' personal needs," said the prosecutor at the trial at the Jakarta Corruption Court.

Harvey Moeis is also said to have sent money to Sandra Dewi's personal account which was intended to meet personal needs and installment payments.

"Transferring to Sandra Dewi's account for Sandra Dewi's personal needs include payment of installments and repayment of the house at The Pakubuwono House, Town House F on behalf of Sandra Dewi, Building on land Block J-3 Jalan Haji Kelik, Permata Regency on behalf of Kartika Dewi, Blok J-5 and J-7 on behalf of Sandra Dewi and Blok J-9 on behalf of Raymon Gunawan," he said.

In fact, Sandra Dewi also used the money to buy branded bags of various brands and jewelry. Setidanyak, there are 88 luxury bags that Harvey Moeis' wife bought.
