Jokowi Will Reshuffle Minister, Kasetpres: Wait For The Time

Head of the Presidential Secretariat (Kasetpres) Heru Budi Hartono talked about the possibility that President Jokowi would reshuffle the ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet in the near future.

Heru said that the ministerial reshuffle that Jokowi would do was just waiting for a time that could not be revealed.

"Later, wait for the time," said Heru when met at the DKI Jakarta City Hall, Thursday, August 14.

Previously, it was rumored that President Jokowi would announce a ministerial reshuffle. However, the reshuffle has not been carried out today.

Jokowi emphasized that a cabinet reshuffle would only be carried out if needed. The reshuffle was confirmed to be his right as President.

"Yes, if needed. I've been talking about it for a long time, if needed. I still have that prerogative," Jokowi explained on the sidelines of work activities at IKN, Tuesday, August 13.

Based on information circulating, there are four ministers who will be replaced or subject to Jokowi's reshuffle. The four are Minister of Law and Human Rights (Menkumham) Yasonna Laoly, Minister of Environment and Forestry (LHK) Siti Nurbaya Bakar, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Arifin Tasrif, and Minister of Investment Bahlil Lahadalia.

A number of names are also rumored to be replacing the four people. Gerindra Party cadre Supratman Andi Agtas is said to be the Minister of Law and Human Rights replacing the post left by PDI-P cadre Yasonna Laoly.

Meanwhile, Bahlil Lahadalia is said to be serving as Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources replacing Arifin Tasrif. Meanwhile, the Head of the Prabowo-Gibran Winning Team, Roslan P Roeslani, is also rumored to be replacing Bahlil as investment minister.

Then PSI Secretary General who is also Deputy Minister of ATR/BPN Raja Juli Antoni is said to be filling the LHK ministerial post replacing NasDem cadre Siti Nurbaya.
