Used Goods In Penjaringan Jakut Burned

JAKARTA The land fire that occurred in Pejagalan, Penjaringan, North Jakarta (Jakut) Wednesday, August 14, there were a number of semi-permanent buildings filled with used goods stalls.

As of now, 120 houses were mapped with 35 stalls burned down.

Head of North Jakarta Gulkarmat Sub-dept., Gatot Sulaeman, said that 120 houses were burned or semi-permanent with 35 stalls.

"There are 120 houses (and) 35 stalls on fire," he said.

A fire broke out during an electrical short from one of the houses in the area. Until finally the fire spread to flammable materials and then grew.

A total of 18 units and 95 North Jakarta firefighters were deployed to speed up the blackout.

"The beginning of the blackout was 06.44 WIB. Localizer 07.37 WIB, cooling 08.28 WIB," he wrote in the report received.

Regarding the loss of life, Gatot could not confirm it because it was still being cooled. Meanwhile, the loss is estimated at IDR 400 million.
