TANGERANG - A member of the Professional and Security Section (Propam) arrested 2 perpetrators of the wallet robbery belonging to Nur Aini on Jalan Daan Mogot, Tangerang City, last Saturday, August 10.

Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugoroho in a statement received on Wednesday, August 14, said the arrest began when Propam member Brigadier Dwi Heryanto returned home after his service at the Tangerang City Metro Police.

On the way, he saw the robbery that was allegedly carried out by the four perpetrators. On that basis, he immediately moved quickly and stopped the perpetrators' vehicles.

"My members immediately pulled out the ignition of the perpetrator's motorbike, but 2 perpetrators fled into the Public Transportation and were immediately chased by Dwi," said Zain in his statement, Wednesday, August 14.

"In public transportation, the perpetrator spoke with the driver to immediately run (caping the gas) the speed of the vehicle, but quickly the two perpetrators were pulled and secured by our members. However, 2 other perpetrators managed to escape," he continued.

After that, the two perpetrators were handed over to the Tangerang City Metro Police, for further investigation.

"Furthermore, 2 perpetrators were detained at the Tangerang City Police Headquarters along with the vehicle used by the perpetrator," he said.
