JAKARTA - Gerindra Party Daily Chair Sufmi Dasco Ahmad revealed that the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) will enter the Advanced Indonesia Coalition (KIM) based on the last communication between his party and the party.
"There is an option from PKS to cooperate with KIM, we have communicated with PKS several times," said Dasco when met at the Parliament Complex, Jakarta, Antara, Tuesday, August 13.
He said the communication from the Gerindra Party to PKS was through PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu and with the PKS Syuro Council. The envoy from Gerindra was to communicate with PKS, namely Gerindra Party Secretary General Ahmad Muzani.
"The discussion was carried out by Mr. Muzani, which includes, among other things, candidates and so on," said the Deputy Chairperson of the MPR RI.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Muzani did not want to comment much on the contents of his communication with PKS. After Dasco conveyed the information, Muzani immediately approached Dasco and walked together to enter his office in the DPR.
Earlier on Saturday (10/8) PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu admitted that he had communicated with the President-elected for the 2024 General Election, as well as the General Chair of Gerindra, Prabowo Subianto.
"That the PKS leadership has communicated with Mr. Prabowo Subianto as the elected President of the Republic of Indonesia in the 2024 presidential election," said Syaikhu when announcing the results of the 11th PKS Syuro Council Deliberation at the PKS DPP Office, Jakarta.
He explained that his relationship with Prabowo had existed for a long time. He revealed that PKS has been in a relationship with Prabowo since the 2014 presidential election and also the 2019 presidential election.
