Inaugurating Kusuma Bangsa Park At IKN, Jokowi: Respect For Heroes

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) inaugurated the Kusuma Bangsa Park, which will become a holy reflection site, in the capital city of Nusantara (IKN), East Kalimantan, Monday 12 August afternoon.

In his remarks at the event, President Jokowi said that the inauguration of the Kusuma Bangsa Park was a form of respect for the heroes.

"In order to pay tribute to the heroes, the nation's fighters, especially the founders of the Bung Karno and Bung Hatta nations, this afternoon we inaugurate the Kusuma Bangsa Park," said the President, confiscated by Antara.

The inauguration was marked by pressing the siren button and signing the inscription by President Joko Widodo.

Taman Kusuma Bangsa or initially called the memorial park area became a place for the implementation of holy reflections and honorary apples on the commemoration of the 79th Anniversary of the Republic of Indonesia at IKN.

This park is a monument as well as a public space to commemorate the services of the heroes of independence.
