Towards IKN, The First Red And White Heritage Flag Duplikat Was Taken Out Of Jakarta

The Red and White Heritage Flag Order and the Proclamation Text begin today towards the Capital City of the Archipelago (IKN) in East Kalimantan. That means, duplicates of the Pusaka Flag are brought out of Jakarta for the first time. Because usually, the RI Anniversary ceremony is always held at the State Palace in Jakarta. "That's right, this is the first time the duplicate flag and text of the proclamation will go out of Jakarta to the New Capital City, at the State Palace, in the capital city of the archipelago," said Deputy for Protocol, Press and Media of the Presidential Secretariat Yusuf Permana, Saturday, August 10.

Unlike previous years, Yusuf explained, the procession of duplicates of the Red and White Flag and text of the Proclamation became longer. From Monas, the motorcade will go to Thamrin Street, HI Roundabout, Gatot Subroto Street, Cawang, to Halim Perdanakusuma Airport.

"Usually it is held the route from the Palace, eh from Monas to the Merdeka Palace but this time we will create history because the carnival is held from the National Monument to the Archipelago Capital," he explained. "From Monas we will travel to the inaugural halim through the Horse Statue, Thamrin Street, then the HI Roundabout then Semanggi continues to reach Halim Perdanakusuma, approximately an estimated journey of 1 hour and 15 minutes with a distance of approximately 14 km," added Yusuf.

Because this carnival is the first time in history, Yusuf asked for blessings from all people wherever they are and citizens of the Republic of Indonesia to pray for the celebration of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day to run smoothly, well, as expected by all parties.

"Because this is also a series of activities for the commemoration of the Republic of Indonesia's Independence Day so that it is our responsibility together to make all events successful in the month of independence," he concluded.
