No Survivors In Airplane Accident In Vinhedo City, Brazil

JAKARTA The plane crash that occurred in Vinhedo City, Sao Paulo State, Brazil, on Friday morning, August 9 resulted in no survivors. The plane, carrying 58 passengers and four crew members, crashed in a local residential area on its way from Cascavel City to Guarulhos Municipality in Sao Paulo.

According to a prefectural government report, the plane began to rotate around its axis before it crashed, accompanied by thick smoke rising above the crash site. "No one survived," the prefectural government said, as quoted by the Brazilian news portal, G1.

There is no official information regarding the cause of the accident. Further investigation is still being carried out to determine the factors causing the crash.

Meanwhile, G1 reported that about 12 people who were supposed to be passengers on the plane were not involved in the accident. They were late for check-in after thinking they had booked tickets with different airlines. After clarification, they were not allowed to board the plane by an airline employee who was later thought to have saved their lives.

"He (the employee) has saved my life," a young man told G1, referring to airline employees who refused to get on the plane.

This incident left deep sorrow for the victim's family and relatives and was in the main spotlight in international news.
