JAKARTA - Surakarta Police Chief Kombes Iwan Saktiadi revealed that the three perpetrators of the stabbing of Persis Solo supporters were leaders and members of the San Andreas gang, Solo City, Central Java (Central Java).

The three perpetrators had the initials CP (31) and RRN (19) residents of Pucansewit, Jebres. Also, AAM (23), a resident of Gandekan, Jebres.

Kombes Iwan Saktiadi also said that the perpetrator's actions were categorized as severe persecution, because the perpetrator used sharp weapons and the victim was seriously injured and had to be treated.

"The abuse was severe because this perpetrator abused using a sharp weapon, the victim was seriously injured and under treatment," said Kombes Iwan in a written statement, Friday, August 9.

"Which incident occurred when supporters escorted the Persis Solo bus, after the President's Cup match, Saturday, August 3," he said.

Precisely at 23.00 WIB, on Jalan Kolonel Sutarto and Jalan Army students, Jebres District, Solo City.

Then, Sunday, August 4, at around 07.00 WIB, on Jalan Juanda, Pucang sawit, Jebres, Solo City.

"Before the incident, the perpetrators gathered together, riding together and were affected by alcohol," he explained.

Kombes Iwan revealed that the perpetrators were inspired by online games, and then they founded a gang called "San Andreas".

In approximately 4 months they have recruited 51 members from the Solo Raya area.

Meanwhile, per region they already have group admins on WhatsApp (WA). How to gather they are announced through the WA group.

"And of the 51 people who entered the gang, the police have identified them. Only, 3 people have been arrested while we will further explore their roles," said the Chief of Police.

The evidence that was secured was a sharp weapon of the type of sickle with black beans. Then, a cutter with a red plastic handle. Also, the attributes of black t-shirts read 'San Andreas' and 'AK47'.

"So the perpetrators are not supporters nor rivals of supporters. Because they are not a supporter group, they have nothing to do with it," he added.
