The Treasurer Of The Lamongan PDIP DPC Was Examined By The KPK Regarding The East Java DPRD Grant Fund Case

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) examined the treasurer of the Lamongan PDIP DPC Fujika Senna Octavia as a witness today. He was questioned by investigators regarding the alleged corruption in the allocation of grant funds for community groups (pokmas) from the East Java Regional Budget for the 2019-2022 fiscal year.

Meanwhile, Fujika is the wife of Kusnadi as the Chair of the East Java Provincial DPRD as well as a PDI-P cadre (PDIP) who is one of the suspects in this case.

"It's true, today sister F was asked for information by investigators and investigated regarding her knowledge regarding the allocation of funds for the East Java province grant to Pokmas," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, August 8.

During the examination, F was asked by investigators about the total budget, including the allocation of the grant funds. Meanwhile, the matter of confirmation of the search results has not been carried out," said Tessa.

"Until now, there has been no clarification from the investigators regarding this matter because the details of the case have been entered, but later we will try to update again if there is a submission from the investigator," said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

Likewise, regarding the flow of funds, Tessa said, investigators would do an in-depth investigation. "For the time being, there is no flow of funds to the party, but all instructions are still being investigated. We'll just have to wait," said Tessa

Meanwhile, after being questioned, Fujik explained that his examination was related to the search process carried out by the KPK investigating team. His house and Kusnadi were visited by the team to be searched.

Previously reported, the KPK has named 21 new suspects in the alleged bribery of grant funds for community groups or pokmas from the East Java Provincial Budget for the 2019-2022 Fiscal Year. This effort is the development of the case that ensnared the former Deputy Chairperson of the East Java DPRD, Sahat Tua P. Simanjuntak.

The KPK has also asked the Directorate General of Immigration of the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent 21 people from leaving the country. They are:
