JAKARTA - The Branch Management Board (DPC) of the National Awakening Party (PKB) of Temanggung Regency in Central Java (Central Java), reported Lukman Edy on suspicion of defamation or slander against the PKB DPP institution.

"This alleged defamation by Muhammad Lukman Edy, who was once the Secretary General of the PKB DPP, and today he is no longer part of the management at the PKB DPP," said the Chairman of the PKB DPC, Temanggung Regency, Muh Amin in Temanggung, Thursday, August 8, confiscated by Antara.

According to him, what Lukman Edy said was beyond his capacity and authority to talk about something internal to PKB.

"That we do not mean we do not want to be criticized and do not want to be given input. However, if we look closely, this is already outside the corridor that was supposed when Lukman Edy gave several statements and statements in the mass media," he said.

At all levels, he said, they had already reported because the structure of the PKB DPC reached the branch level.

"Of course, our hope is a part that must be answered by Lukman Edy to clarify. Because this is a suspicion and if later it is proven that he has committed acts of defamation and slander, he must obtain punishment in accordance with existing regulations," he said.

The existing provisions, he continued, are related to the Electronic Information and Transactions Law (UU ITE). In addition, it is also very possible to work together on the issue of the Criminal Code or criminal law.

"We hope that there will be punishment and justice from all large citizens and PKB cadres who are at the lower level. This activity is carried out simultaneously, both by the DPP, DPW, and DPC. Why is this simultaneous? Because it causes unrest at the level of residents and the big family of PKB," he said.

Previously, the Batam PKB DPC and the South Sulawesi PKB DPW (Sulsel) also reported Lukman Edy on the same allegations.
