Joint KKB Comb Officials In Alama District Search For New Zealand Pilot Killers

The joint TNI-Polri task force team evacuated 13 survivors from Alama District, Mimika Regency, Central Papua Province/ANTARA/Agustina Estevani Janggo.

The Task Force for the 2024 Cartenz Peace Operations together with the joint TNI apparatus conducted a search of the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) after the arrest and assassination of pilot Glen Malcolm Conning that occurred on Monday (5/8).

Head of the Cartenz Peace Operations Public Relations Task Force 2024 Kombes Bayu Suseno said his party coordinated with the Joint Operations Command for the Defense Area (Kogabwilhan) III and Timika Air Base to shift troops to that location.

"It is planned that the search will last for at least two weeks, and ask for prayer support so that the perpetrators are immediately arrested to be held accountable for their actions," he said as quoted by ANTARA, Wednesday, August 7.

According to Bayu, on Tuesday (6/8) the joint TNI-Polri task force team managed to evacuate the bodies of pilot Glen Malcolm Conning and followed 13 civilians from Alama District, Mimika Regency.

"A total of 13 people were evacuated consisting of eight health workers, two teachers and three children," he said.

He explained that the survivors who were with the late Pilot Glen Malcolm Conning would witness the KKB atrocities that occurred in Alama District.

"They will also assist further investigations regarding the tragic events that befell Pilot Glen Malcolm Conning," he said.

Meanwhile, Head of Cartenz Peace Operations 2024 Brigadier General Faizal Ramadhani said that after the attack and killing of pilot Glen Malcolm Conning in Alama District, 13 civilians were successfully evacuated to Timika.

"The evacuation was successfully carried out on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, using three Bell Helicopters that arrived at the Aero Modeling Base Yohanis Kapiyau Timika," he said.
