JAKARTA - One student at SMK PGRI Jakarta with the initials GP (17) was forced to deal with the Kalideres Police. The teenager was arrested for molesting the victim RA using a modified iron or baru ruler like a sharp weapon.

The incident took place on Jalan Tanjung Pura 2, RT 03/04, Pegadungan, Kalideres District, West Jakarta, last Monday, August 5, 2024.

In the video recording with a duration of 3 minutes 59 seconds, a student can be seen stabbing using a crossbar when crossing with another student riding a motorcycle.

Kapolsek Kalideres Kompol Abdul Jana said, after his party received information regarding student clashes, the police immediately moved quickly to find students who carried out the persecution.

"Initially, the victim came home from school riding a three-cycling motorbike. On the way they met a group of students from SMK PGRI who also rode a motorbike," said Commissioner Abdul Jana when confirmed by VOI, Tuesday, August 6.

One of the students from the gang then grabbed an iron ruler or a bar measuring about 50 cm. The sheet hit the victim's finger until it was injured.

After carrying out the action, the perpetrator managed to escape. Meanwhile, several students from SMK PGRI were arrested by residents.

"The Kalideres Police Criminal Investigation Team will immediately pursue the perpetrators. On August 6, 2024, the perpetrators were successfully secured along with evidence of iron ruler or barbar used in the persecution," he said.

Furthermore, the perpetrators and evidence were brought to the Kalideres Police for further investigation.
