Synthetic Marijuana Party In Cengkareng Disbanded By Police, 4 People Arrested

A group of youths who were having a synthetic marijuana party (Sinte) or gorilla tobacco in the Kapuk area, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta, were raided by the police.

Four teenagers who were at the location were secured by the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team. The police also found evidence in the form of synthetic marijuana.

"After a search, we found 1 sinte," said Head of Samapta Polres Metro West Jakarta, AKBP M. Hari Agung Julianto when confirmed, Monday, August 5.

Meanwhile, during the search, the police also confiscated a digital scale belonging to one of the arrested perpetrators.

"We found digital scales stored in the motorcycle seat of one of the teenagers," he said.

The arrests of the teenagers were made when the West Jakarta Metro Police Precision Pioneer Patrol Team was conducting patrols in the Kapuk area, Cengkareng District, West Jakarta on Sunday, August 4.

The arrests of the teenagers began with police suspicions. Furthermore, 4 teenagers and the evidence of drugs were taken to the Cengkareng Police for further legal proceedings.

"They and the evidence were immediately taken to the Cengkareng Police for further investigation," he said.

Until now, the case has been handled by the Cengkareng Police.
