BNN Nunukan Arrests Man Brewok Who Sells 40 Gram Narcotics From Malaysia

NUNUKAN - The National Narcotics Agency (BNN) eradication team in Nunukan Regency, North Kalimantan, thwarted a seller of methamphetamine from Malaysia weighing 40 grams. "The team secured three people with the initials E (32), DM (43), and RB (33) along with 11 packs of methamphetamine with a gross weight of approximately 40 grams," said Head of BNNK Nunukan Anton Suriyadi Siagian in Nunukan, Antara, Sunday, August 4. Anton explained that the disclosure of the case began with a community report informing that there was a man with twisted characteristics who was going to sell methamphetamine at a hotel around the Nunukan Regency square. The Nunukan Regency BNN responded to the report, then the team immediately moved quickly to the crime scene (TKP), then searched for the man's whereabouts. Arriving at the TKP at around 07.30 WITA, a person with the initials E was found, then searched. From the results of the search, it was found that two packs of crystal methamphetamine were ready to be circulated from inside E's spare bag. After being searched and found evidence, the team moved to search E's residence on Jalan Pongtiku Kelurahan, Nunukan Tengah. From the results of the search, it was found that 9 packs of crystal methamphetamine were ready for distribution which were stored in a small can in E's room. From the results of E's confession, the illicit goods belonged to DM. With the modus operandi, if there are buyers who transact via DM, the goods will be delivered by E on the orders of DM. "After we secured DM, the person concerned admitted that all this time he had obtained the item from Kabakan Malaysia. By ordering RB's brother to take the item," continued Anton. Currently, the three perpetrators have been secured at the Nunukan Regency BNN Office along with evidence of methamphetamine weighing approximately 40 grams, 5 mobile phones, 1 bag, and 1 box of cans to store methamphetamine. Further legal proceedings, he said, the three perpetrators and evidence will be handed over to the North Kalimantan Provincial National Narcotics Agency. Anton advised the entire community, especially the Nunukan Regency area, to dare to report any narcotics crimes in the vicinity.
