It's Fun, Electricity Is Starting To Enter 13 3T Villages In West Kalimantan Ahead Of The 79th Anniversary Of The Republic Of Indonesia

JAKARTA - A total of 13 villages in the Disadvantaged, Frontier and Outermost (3T) areas in Sintang Regency, West Kalimantan (Kalbar), began to enjoy electrical energy ahead of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.

"The West Kalimantan Distribution Main Unit through the Sanggau Customer Service Implementation Unit flows electricity to 13 villages in Sintang Regency. This makes 2,767 residents happy because they can enjoy PLN electricity ahead of the 79th Anniversary of Indonesian Independence," said PLN Manager Sanggau Hendy Gita when contacted in Sanggau, West Kalimantan, Sunday, August 4, confiscated by Antara.

He explained that this step is a manifestation of the presence of the state and PLN in providing equal access to electricity for all people in the 3T region.

Furthermore, Hendy explained that to illuminate these 13 villages PLN built network infrastructure in the form of a 52.74 km Low Voltage Network (JTR), 101.23 km Medium Voltage Network (JTM), 24 units of Distribution Substation with a total capacity of 2230 kVa, which is connected to the Equatorial Electricity system.

"Energy of electricity is an important need for all Indonesian people. With the support of the government, PLN continues to strive for the development of electricity in the area as a form of practice of the fifth precept of Pancasila, namely Social Justice for All Indonesian People," said Hendy.

Meanwhile, the Head of Gandis Village, Martono, thanked PLN for struggling to illuminate his village so that the dream of people who have been waiting for electricity for decades was finally achieved.

"It is hoped that with this adequate access to electricity, it will not only meet the energy needs of the village community, but can also be used for regional economic progress," said Martono.

Aloy, one of the villagers, expressed his joy and emotion to thank PLN and those who have helped build electricity.

"We have dreamed of electricity for more than 36 years, after waiting more than 1 year and 4 months from the submission process, finally the electricity in our village was built, thank you for the assistance from all parties, especially PLN in the construction of our village electricity," said Aloy.

Meanwhile, General Manager of PLN UID West Kalimantan, Joice Lanny Wantania, said that PLN is committed to participating in development in West Kalimantan by presenting electricity in villages. So that it can support improving welfare, economy, education and makes it easier for the public to access information.

"Hopefully this PLN electricity entry can help improve the quality of life of the community," said Joice.
