Siri's Husband In Bandung Slits Wife's Neck To Death Arrested With 3 Friends Involved

Bandung City Police (Polresta) arrested four perpetrators of premeditated murder against a young mother with the initials INS (24). The murder took place in January 2024.

Bandung Police Chief Kombes Pol Kusworo Wibowo said the victim was found missing seven months ago and has been buried by the suspects in Ciburial Village, Pacet, Bandung Regency, West Java (West Java).

"To commit murder, the main perpetrator asked one more friend to dig a grave, and then bury it, then the main suspect fled to Bogor Regency until now we have arrested him," said Kusworo in Bandung Regency, Friday, August 2, confiscated by Antara.

The suspects consisted of one main suspect and a siri husband from the victim named Asep Saepudin (23) and three friends, namely Abdul Gani (22), Usman Soleh (30), and Agus Kurnia (21).

"The Bandung Police then searched for victims and traced information sources so that they could find out the three suspects in their respective homes in Bandung Regency," he said.

He said the family admitted that they had lost communication with the victim since January 13, 2024, until they received news that the victim died because he was killed by the main suspect.

"On July 28, 2024, the victim's family received information from residents who said that the victim had been killed by her husband, suspect A," he said.

He revealed that after the victim's family found out that INS had been killed by the perpetrator, the family then reported it to the Bandung Police on July 30, 2024 and an investigation was carried out immediately.

"We were able to arrest the four perpetrators on July 31, 2024, one day after the victim's family reported this incident," he said.

Kusworo said the victim was killed by the main suspect with the help of three other suspects using a machete on the neck to death.

"The three suspects in his house helped the suspect by holding hands, feet and silencing the victim when the suspect slit the victim with a machete," he said.

His party has also conducted an exhumation or grave excavation of the victim's body for an autopsy. However, several wounds on the victim's body were identified and according to the suspect's statement.

As a result of their actions, the perpetrators were charged with Article 340 of the Criminal Code concerning Premeditated Murder and Article 170 of the Criminal Code concerning Persecution with the threat of a maximum sentence of life imprisonment.
