Happy Diaspora Sambut Prabowo In England

JAKARTA - President Prabowo Subianto continued his trip to England. His arrival at the location turned out to raise enthusiasm for students from Indonesia in seeking knowledge in the UK.

One of the student diaspora that warmly and enthusiastically welcomed the arrival of Indonesian President Prabowo in London, England is the Chairman of the Indonesian Student Association (PPI) London Swara Reiki January.

"Wow, that's one experience that can't be forgotten. It can't be replaced. I've never met the President, I just met him directly, it honestly makes me even more enthusiastic to learn," said Reiki, a student from the Goldsmiths University of London, as reported by ANTARA from the statement from the Prabowo media team, Wednesday, November 20.

Reiki not only felt enthusiasm but also other students who are members of the PPI London.

They enthusiastically welcomed President Prabowo at the hotel where he was staying and gave his appreciation through flower bouquets through careful preparation.

"We, as the PPI team, have been preparing for 6 am and some even from 4 am to prepare food and several documents so that Pak Prabowo's trip runs smoothly," said Tessalonika Sitorus of Queen Mary University of London majoring in the LLM Commercial and Corporate Law.

Another student who also felt the enthusiasm and euphoria of the presence of the Head of State in London was Nicholas Chang, a student from Bayes Business School majoring in BSc Finance Hons.

Although Nicholas has not had the opportunity to shake hands or take direct pictures with Prabowo, he said preparing to welcome the President of the Republic of Indonesia in London was an impressive experience for him.

"We have been preparing since 3 days before, we participated in the advance team from upstream to downstream. We surveyed the airport, and after the airport, the hotel where Pak Prabowo is now staying," he said.

The arrival of the Head of State was welcomed by Representatives from the United Kingdom Charles Anderson DL, Special Representative to the British Foreign Minister Adele Taylor MBE, British Ambassador to Indonesia Jermey CVO OBE, Indonesian Ambassador to London Desra Believe, and Defense Attache to the Indonesian Embassy in London Colonel Faishal Ridlwan.

During this visit, President Prabowo Subianto is scheduled to hold a number of meetings, including King Charles III, British Prime Minister (PM) Keir Starmer, and British Deputy PM Angela Rayner.

In addition, President Prabowo is also scheduled to attend the CEO of the Roundtable Forum.
