JAKARTA - Acting Governor of DKI Jakarta Heru Budi Hartono admitted that he would check data on 90 percent of people with disabilities in Cakung District, East Jakarta who had never received social assistance (bansos) distributed by the government.
Heru said, the DKI Provincial Government will immediately search for data on people with disabilities who do not receive social assistance until the address where they live for follow-up.
"I will check by name by address, it should be noted that DKI is very easy to check on residents who are needed to pay attention to," Heru told reporters, Friday, August 2.
This data synchronization is carried out from various sources, ranging from population data, integrated social welfare data (DTKS), data on targeting the acceleration of the elimination of extreme poverty (P3KE), taxation, and asset ownership data.
"It was recorded first, which cleaning is correct, we verified. It is very easy to give by name by address. It will be finished a week," explained Heru.
Heru revealed that the synchronization of this data was carried out to find out whether the disability group in East Jakarta did meet the criteria as recipients of social assistance.
"We check, if we don't or don't get it, we will definitely give it to them," he continued.
Previously, the National Coalition for Disabilities Pokja revealed that 4,723 people or 90 percent of people with disabilities in Cakung District, East Jakarta had never received social assistance.
So, currently, only about 550 people or 10 percent of the total 5,273 people with disabilities in the region have been recorded as recipients of social assistance.
