President Jokowi Apologizes For All Mistakes During National Dhikr

JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) apologized for any mistakes and mistakes in carrying out his mandate as President of Indonesia, which was revealed during the National Remembrance and Prayer event at the Merdeka Palace courtyard, Jakarta.

In his remarks, President Jokowi also on behalf of Vice President Ma'ruf Amin to apologize in front of thousands of invitees at the opening ceremony which began a series of Independence Month activities ahead of the 79th Indonesian Independence Day.

"Mr. Vice President, ladies and gentlemen, my compatriots and all over the country, on this good occasion, on the first day of the month of independence, August, with all sincerity and humility, allow me and Professor KH Ma'ruf Amin to apologize deeply for all the mistakes and mistakes so far, especially as long as we both carry out our mandate as President of the Republic of Indonesia and as Vice President of the Republic of Indonesia," said President Jokowi as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, August 1.

The President realizes that as a human being, he and Vice President Ma'ruf Amin cannot possibly please all parties.

The Head of State and Vice President said that it was impossible for both of them to meet the expectations of all parties.

"I am not perfect, I am an ordinary human being, perfection belongs only to Allah SWT. Only belongs to Allah, the Kingdom of the Sky and Earth and whatever is in it. He is Almighty over everything," said President Jokowi.

The President also invited all invited attendees to pray together, asking for the help of Allah SWT so that it would be given the convenience of achieving the ideals of an advanced nation, abaldatun nation, thayyibatun, wa rabbun ghofur.
