The Decision On The Personal Jet Facility Used By Kaesang Is In The Hands Of The KPK Leaders

JAKARTA - KPK Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring Pahala Nainggolan said the decision to report the use of private jet facilities for the Chairman of the Kaesang Pangarep Solidarity Party (PSI) was in the hands of the head of the anti-corruption commission. Discussions will be held in the meeting.

"We will take it to the leadership to decide what it really is," Pahala told reporters in Jakarta quoted on Thursday, September 19.

Pahala said that the report from President Joko Widodo's (Jokowi) son would certainly be reviewed first. However, the Directorate of Gratification of the KPK will conduct a study first.

Including exploring who the owner of the plane Kaesang was traveling in. "I'll ask later, who to whom, we will definitely ask," he said.

The Directorate of Gratification, which is in the Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring, only accepts and stipulates the status of incoming reports. Meanwhile, for public complaints against Kaesang, Pahala cannot talk much.

"I also don't know what Dumas (Community Complaints) is like progress (progress, ed). I don't know either," he said.

"We just say prevention (his job, ed) to accept and determine (the incoming report, ed). So if there are others within the KPK, it is coordinated," continued Pahala.

As previously reported, the Chairman of the Indonesian Solidarity Party (PSI) Kaesang Pangarep said he had explained to the KPK about the use of the private jet facility he used when pledir to the United States with his wife, Erina Gudono. He claims that he took a plane belonging to his friend.

"I conveyed information about my trip to the US who was riding or accompanying a friend of mine," Kaesang told reporters at the ACLC KPK building, Rasuna Said, South Jakarta, Tuesday, September 17.

Complementing Kaesang,men Widjojo as his spokesman said there was a document filled by President Jokowi's son. Meanwhile, Kaesang visited the old KPK office at around 10.30 WIB. He then finished his business at 11.30 WIB.

"Earlier, Mas Kaesang filled out a gratification form. Later, we just have to wait for directions and instructions from the KPK," said Maria Widjojo at the same location.
