JAKARTA - The toddler with the initials MFW (1.5), a victim of abuse by foster parents at a rented Jalan Tipar Cakung, Sukapura, Cilincing District, North Jakarta, is still undergoing intensive treatment at the Kramatjati Police Hospital.

MFW suffered a brain membrane hemorrhage based on the results of the CT scan of the Kramatjati Police Hospital, East Jakarta on Thursday, August 1. MFW is a victim of abuse by the perpetrators Aji Aditama (25) and Tofantia Aranda Stevhanie (21), his wife.

"The victim W has used breath assistance, severe head injury conditions. There has been a CT scan of bleeding in the brain membrane, then there is swelling in the brain, and there are bruises on the head, chest, back, stomach, and so on," said Head of the Kramat Jati Police Hospital, Brigadier General Hariyanto to reporters, Thursday, August 1.

MFW is currently still being treated intensively in the ICU room for children. MFW is being treated by a sub-ICU pediatrician. Then also treated by a neurosurgeon, and a nutritionist.

A number of specialist doctors have operated on the baby to evacuate the bleeding in his brain.

"The operation is called trepansy, yes. We put a hole in the head, then we took out the bleeding. Because there was a collision or there was trauma or a severe head injury," he said.

After undergoing the operation, his party will conduct an evaluation for the baby's recovery.

"Yes, currently there is only one operation, we will evaluate it again. Hopefully one time. So there will be improvements," he said.

Meanwhile, his brother, who was also a victim of abuse, RC (6) suffered bruises on his face, chest, stomach and legs.

However, RC victims experience trauma to their psyche and require therapy by psychologist doctors, so they are not allowed to meet foreigners.

"But the condition is still good. It means that we are treated in ordinary treatment, but we are still consulting psychologically forensic. So, hopefully in the future, the psychological condition will improve," he said.

However, he could not confirm how long the RC victim's psychological treatment would take because it took time.

"Yes, it's been relative for a long time. Later when it improves, we have treatment from psychology, so that later the psychologist will determine when he can communicate with other people," he said.
