AGO Investigates Benny Tjokro's Assets That Using The Name Of His Brother

JAKARTA - Attorney General's (AGO) investigators have investigated Franky Tjokrosaputro, Benny Tjokrosaputro's younger brother (Bentjok) in the alleged corruption case of PT Asabri. The examination is related to asset tracking.

"(Franky Tjokrosaputro) We have examined several times at PT Asabri's (Case). We have also examined them", said Chief of Special Crimes at the Attorney General's Office, Febrie Adriansyah, to reporters, Tuesday, March 23.

Febrie said that this investigation was to investigate the existence of an asset belonging to Benny Tjokrosaputro which uses the name Franky Tjokrosaputro. It is known that the AGO has just confiscated 147 hectares of empty land belonging to Bentjok in Cianjur, West Java.

This land asset is suspected to be related to his property company, namely PT Rimo International Lestari Tbk, whose Main Director is Franky Tjokosaputro.

"The identification of assets is on behalf of him (Benny Tjokro's younger brother)", he said.

In addition, investigators are also investigating the whereabouts of alleged assets belonging to Benny Tjokro in Menpawah, West Kalimantan. Currently, the team will identify 1.000 hectares of land designated for housing.

The Attorney General's Office has named nine suspects in the alleged Asabri corruption case.

Two former CEOs of PT. Asabri was named the suspect, namely Major General (ret) Adam Rachmat Damiri and Sonny Widjaja. Meanwhile, seven other suspects, namely Bachtiar Effendi, who is a former finance director of PT. Asabri, Heri Setiono as Director of PT. Asabri.

Furthermore, Lukman Purnomosidi as Managing Director of PT. Prima Network and Jimmy Sutopo who are Directors of PT. Jakarta Issuer Investor Relations. Finally, Heru Hidayat and Benny Tjokrosaputro or Benny Tjokro.
