Police Arrest Toddler Killer Whose Body Burned In Tangerang

The police arrested the perpetrator of the murder of a toddler whose body was found on fire at his contract's house in the Kresek Village area, Rawa Bird Village, Kosambi District, Tangerang Regency.

Head of Sub-Directorate for Jatanras Polda Metro Jaya, AKBP Abdul Rahim said the perpetrator with the initials HB was arrested this morning after his party pocketed the whereabouts.

"It is true that the perpetrator has been arrested," Abdul told VOI, Tuesday, April 29.

It was stated that the suspect HB, who was reportedly the lover of the victim's mother, was arrested at the Alhidayah Grand Mosque, Deudeul, Taraju District, Tasikmalaya Regency, West Java.

However, regarding the way the perpetrators killed, Abdul had not detailed the reason that the investigation process against the suspect was still being carried out.

"The perpetrator's initials HB, is still being investigated," said Abdul.

Previously, the Tangerang City Metro Police Chief, Kombes Zain Dwi Nugroho, explained that this incident was revealed after the victim's mother, F alias J, looked for her child's whereabouts. He went straight to HB's rented house, his own girlfriend, where he left the child because he had work. However, when he arrived, the rented door was tightly locked.

"His mother had tried to open the door to be assisted by several residents, but still couldn't," said Zain in his statement, Monday, April 28.

After a long search, residents finally found the key to the house which turned out to be falling into a ditch near the location. After the door was successfully opened, a terrible sight was seen: the little one was found dead, with burns on his body.

At the time of the incident, HB the renter was known not to be there. Now, the police are hunting HB to reveal what really happened.

"Temporary suspicion, the victim experienced acts of violence. We are looking for HB to be examined further," added Zain.

The victim's body has now been taken to the Tangerang District Hospital for an autopsy, to determine the exact cause of his death.
