JAKARTA - Airline Qatar Airways launched a new ultra-modern Qsuite Next Gen at the Farnborough International Airshow 2024 which was held at Farnborough, Hampshire, South East, England.

The launch of the exhibition, which was held on July 22-26, was carried out by Chief Executive Officer of Qatar Airways Group Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, witnessed by the Minister of Transportation Qatar Jassim bin Saif bin Ahmed Al Sulaiti and Acting President of the Civil Aviation Authority Qatar Mohamed Faleh Alhajri.

A number of new features embedded include the Quad Suites which can be fully adjusted; Companion Suites in the window aisle to the 4K OLED in-plane entertainment screen (IFE). The space offered is also wider in each suite.

"We are very happy to finally be able to introduce the long-awaited Qsuite Next Gen at the Farnborough International Airshow. Qatar Airways has once again raised the standard for its award-winning product, Qsuite," said Badr Mohammed Al-Meer, launching the Qatar Airways website July 22.

The redesigned Quad Suite is now equipped with a moving IFE Panasonic Astrova 4K OLED display, the world's first airline to use this technology. It can accommodate up to four passengers on the Quad Suite.

Meanwhile, the Companion Suite, which can accommodate two passengers, has characteristics similar to the Quad Suite, with an important overhaul that offers the same joint space in the aisle near the window.

Adopting new technologies to improve passenger comfort and connectivity, Qsuite Next Gen presents a wide selection of adjustments, ranging from surrounding lighting to privacy controls, through an upgraded Touch Screen Passenger Control Unit.

Qsuite Next Gen can only be enjoyed in the Boeing B777-9 Qatar Airways aircraft fleet by 2025.
