Nurul Ghufron PD Re-elected As Leader: I've Experienced

JAKARTA - Deputy Chairman of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) Nurul Ghufron is confident that he will be re-elected as a leader. He admitted that he had experience in participating in the selection of candidates for leadership (capim) and the KPK Supervisory Board in the previous period.

"The name of the running person must then be based on intention and confidence," said Ghufron to reporters at the KPK's Red and White building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 25.

"How confident am I (my, ed)? Of course, because I am experienced, of course I believe in his doro, I hope he escapes," he continued.

Ghufron admitted that he did not have special readiness to carry out the next stage of selection, namely the written test. "So what is important is to measure, not to measure intellectuals, intellectuals are there, but also to be emotional and also spiritual as measured. So things that are like that I think only need calm," he said.

As previously reported, 236 registrants were declared to have passed the administrative selection of candidates for leadership (capim) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK). Of these, eight of them are internal parties of institutions such as Deputy Chairperson of the KPK Johanis Tanak and Nurul Ghufron to Deputy for Prevention and Monitoring of the KPK Pahala Nainggolan. "It was confirmed that there were eight KPK personnel who passed the administrative selection as candidates for KPK leadership," said KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika to reporters at the KPK Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Wednesday, July 24.
