The Bribery Session Of The Former Governor Of North Maluku AGK, The Public Prosecutor Presents 10 Witnesses, Including Provincial Government Officials

JAKARTA - The Public Prosecutor (JPU) of the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) presented 10 witnesses to the follow-up trial of the alleged bribery case of the former Governor of North Maluku (Malut) Abdul Gani Kasuba (AGK) at the Ternate Corruption District Court (PN), Wednesday, July 24.

"The witness who was presented was to uncover a gratification case with the defendant former Governor of North Maluku Abdul Gani Kasuba," said KPK prosecutor Rikhi Benindo Maghaz at the location, confiscated by Antara.

He stated that the 10 witnesses presented by the KPK prosecutors were from ASN, namely the Head of the North Maluku Province Regional Revenue Agency (Bapenda), Zainab Alting; Acting Head of the North Maluku Education and Culture Service (Dikbud) Damruddin; Secretary of the North Maluku Food Service, Fahmi Alhabsi.

In addition, other witnesses, Secretary of the North Maluku Regional Financial and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD), Sulik Yaya Budi Santoso; Head of the North Maluku Investment and One Stop Integrated Services (DPMPTSP), Bambang Hermawan. Meanwhile, the private parties are Eddy Sanusi, Hartono The, Irwan Djaja, Ismid Bahmid, and Jabir Ibrahim.

In this testimony, the Head of DPMPTSP Bambang Hermawan personally handed over money through Ramadhan Ibrahim's aide at Bank Mandiri to help hotel money amounting to Rp. 10 million.

Meanwhile, the Secretary of the North Maluku Dikbud, Fahmi Alhabsy, gave money obtained from his wife and contractor, through Husri Lelean's aide of Rp190 million, where at that time there was a project worth Rp167 billion projects at the North Maluku Dikbud.

Likewise, Hartono The businessman gave Rp50 million to AGK for various purposes.

During the trial, another witness, Eddy Sanusi, denied that he had given 30 thousand dollars to AGK through Deden's aide.

Ismid Bachmid admitted that about 5 times he gave money to Ramadan of around Rp. 700 million in stages, procured more than 900 cattle, while the Head of Bapenda Jainab Alting gave Rp. 35 million to AGK for the sake of medical treatment for the Head of Sintap.

During the trial, the KPK prosecutor showed evidence of money transfers worth Rp. 8,035 billion from eight depositors including Ramadhan Ibrahim, Zaldi Kasuba, Eliya Gabrina Bachmid, Muhammad Nur Usman, Husri Lelean, Idris Husen, Muhaimin Syarif, Puji Lestari, Lucky Radjapati, Wahidin Tachmid and Olivia Bahmid with 430 transactions in a number of banks.

Meanwhile, the former Governor of North Maluku, AGK, who was the defendant in this case, admitted that in his statement he only knew that the money in his aide's account was Ramadhan Ibrahim, while the money that was entered in the account of another person concerned did not know.
