Gerindra Offers PKB Closer To Prabowo's Government, PKS: Invite, Lah

JAKARTA - President of the Prosperous Justice Party (PKS) Ahmad Syaikhu responded to the Gerindra Party's invitation to the National Awakening Party (PKB) to get closer to the Prabowo Subianto-Gibran Rakabuming Raka government.

The invitation, which was expressed by the Daily Chairperson of the Gerindra DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, was heard directly by Syaikhu and all attending the PKB 26th Birthday event at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC).

It was his turn to read out his remarks at the event, Syaikhu also admitted that he also wanted Gerindra to join the government in the future.

"I think for Mr. Dasco in particular and Gerindra, invite, PKS. Don't just invite NasDem and PKB, PKS to be left alone," said Syaikhu, greeted by laughter from the whole room, Tuesday, July 23.

On that occasion, Syaikhu also agreed with Dasco's statement that it was necessary to collaborate to organize the government in the future.

"Earlier, Mr. Dasco has also revealed that there is indeed a need for collaboration from elements of the nation because it is indeed building our beloved country that is so great, to realize a great civilization. It is impossible to do alone, because it is also impossible for one party," he explained.

In the 26th Harlah of PKB, Dasco openly invited the party led by Muhaimin Iskandar to join the Prabowo-Gibran government.

According to Dasco, Gerindra should invite PKB to join the government camp because the two parties had "integrated" to form a temporary coalition in the 2024 presidential election, before finally PKB and Gerindra were in different coalitions.

"In the future, PKB, Gerindra, all parties must be together. Because we have already been said that we are an old love, we are waiting for PKB to join the government together," said Dasco.

For information, PKB held a celebration of its 26th birthday today. A number of party leaders were also present at the 26th Harlah of PKB.

Among them are the General Chairperson (Ketum) of the NasDem Party Surya Paloh, PKS President Ahmad Syaikhu, Plt Ketum PPP Muhamad Mardiono, Hanura Chairman Oesman Sapta Odang, Garuda Chairman Ahmad Ridha Sabana.

There are a number of ketum whose presence is represented by party officials, including the Daily Chairperson of Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Deputy Chairperson of PAN Viva Yoga Mauladi and Secretary General of PAN Eddy Soemarno, Chairman of the PDIP DPP Ahmad Basarah, Secretary General of Golkar Lodewijk F. Paulus, Deputy Democrat Benny K. Harman, to Member of the PSI Board of Trustees Isyana Bagoes Oka.

Also present were MPR Chairman Bambang Soesatyo, Setha Deputy Chairperson of the MPR Hidayat Nur Wahid and Yandri Susanto during the 26th PKB Harlah.
