The Body Of A Man With Bound Hands And Feet Found On The Beach Of Gorontalo

GORONTALO - A resident of Lopo Village, Batudaa Pantai District, Gorontalo Regency, was shocked by the discovery of a man's body with his hands and feet tied with ropes lying on the beach, Sunday, July 21, 2024. The body was first discovered by a resident who had just returned from fishing.

Kapolsek Batudaa Pantai Ipda Syamsuddin Nizam Bunga said the identity of the victim is not yet known. Due to the condition of the face and body that is difficult to identify, the body was taken to Bhayangkara Hospital for identity verification.

"In the meantime, the identity of the victim is not yet known, but there are already residents who claim the body is a member of their family. However, to confirm its identity, the body was taken to the Bhayangkara Hospital of the Gorontalo Police," Nizam said, Monday, July 22.

The police have also not been able to confirm whether the body was a murder victim or not.

"At the crime scene, the victim's feet and hands were indeed tied, but we cannot confirm whether this is a murder case or not. Currently, the Gorontalo Police Inafis team is still conducting investigations," said Nizam.
