PPDB Bogor City Conducive, Council Appreciates Educational Performance

BOGOR - Acceptance of New Students (PPDB) for elementary and junior high schools in Bogor City was declared complete, Sunday 21 July. The chairman of Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD, Akhmad Saeful Bakhri also gave appreciation to the Bogor City Government and especially the Bogor City Education Office (Disdik) for implementing PPDB very well and better than the previous year.

"We can convey that the 2024 PPDB is better than 2023. We really appreciate the performance of the Bogor City Government and the Bogor City Education Office for improving the existing system from last year," said the man who is familiarly called ASB.

Regarding the complaint post opened by Commission IV at the beginning of the 2024 PPDB, ASB revealed that there were no reports or complaints that were too serious. So that some incoming reports can be followed up by communicating directly with the Bogor City Education Office.

"There are several reports that come in, and they are related to technical issues related to Adminduk and DTKS data. Because, on the affirmation route there is an additional quota. And, there are no incoming reports from the zoning and other routes," explained ASB.

Even though it is considered not perfect, ASB ensures that Commission IV of the Bogor City DPRD will communicate further with the Bogor City Education Office to prepare a better regulatory formulation for PPDB next year.

"It's not perfect yet, but we will continue to develop and look for a better formulation for next year," said ASB.

In addition, Commission IV will focus on homework to meet the needs of the number of schools, organize the quality of public and private education in Bogor City.

"Reviewed from the human resources of educators and education staff as well as infrastructure infrastructure, infrastructure remains the focus of education development in the city of Bogor. Of course, this needs special attention and togetherness with the Bogor city government. Moreover, to run the 2025-2045 RPJP requires a strong foundation", concluded ASB.
