Prabowo Usung Free Manggazali And Siti KDI In The Polman Pilkada

JAKARTA - Prabowo Subianto has officially promoted former Regional Secretary Polewali Mandar (Polman) Andi Free Manggazali as Candidates for Regent of Polman and Siti Rahmawati as Candidates for Deputy Regent of Polman in the district election contestation. Prabowo's support was stated in a letter of recommendation for support given to Free Manggazali and Siti Rahmawati or commonly known as Siti KDI.

The Gerindra Party DPP approved and recommended Ir. Andi Free Manggazali as the Candidate for Regent and Siti Rahmawati as the Candidate for Deputy Regent of Polewali Mandar," wrote the General Chair of the Gerindra Party, Prabowo Subianto in a letter signed on Monday (15/7).

However, Prabowo entrusted a number of requests to Free Manggazali. The elected president asked Manggazali to coordinate with the management of the Branch Leadership Council (DPC) and the Gerindra Party Regional Leadership Council (DPD) in West Sulawesi province to prepare and carry out winning work, as well as carry out measurable work in order to increase their popularity and electability.

"DPP Gerindra asked Andi Free Manggazali and Siti Rahmawati to carry out these things," he said.

Apart from Prabowo Subianto, the letter was also signed by Ahmad Muzani as Secretary General (Sekjen) of the Gerindra Party. The letter was even copied to PAC and DPC administrators in Polewali Mandar district.

No doubt, after the official support from Prabowo, the Manggazali Free pair and Siti KDI have now pocketed two recommendation letters from the National Mandate Party and Gerindra which are the parties of the Advanced Indonesia Coalition or KIM. Other parties such as Golkar, PDIP, PPP, Hanura, and Perindo have also signaled support for Free Manggazali. The recommendation letters from these parties are suspected to be only a matter of time.
