The Domestic LNG Allocation Was Traced By The KPK Through The Former Head Of Niaga Migas Sub-Directorate

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) is investigating the domestic liquid natural gas (LNG) allocation to investigate allegations of corruption during the procurement process by PT Pertamina (Persero). Investigators have asked for information from the Head of the 2015-2018 Oil and Gas Commercial Sub-Directorate, M. Alfinsyah on Friday, July 19.

"Witness on behalf of the Supreme Court, the Head of the 2015-2018 Oil and Gas Commercial Sub-Directorate confirmed that investigators were present," said KPK Spokesperson Tessa Mahardika to reporters in a written statement, Saturday, July 20.

Through this examination, investigators are investigating the LNG allocation needed for domestic supplies. The examination was carried out at the KPK's Red and White Building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta.

"The material being investigated is related to the domestic LNG allocation for Indonesia," explained Tessa.

Previously reported, the KPK is currently developing a corruption case in the procurement of LNG at PT Pertamina (Persero) and named two people as suspects. They are Senior Vice President (SPV) Gas and Power Pertamina 2013-2014, Yenni Andayani and Hari Karyulianto who are Directors of Gas Pertamina 2012-2014. Both of them were Karen's subordinates while serving as President Director (Director) of PT Pertamina (Persero). In addition, they got power from Karen to sign a sale agreement or sales purchase agreement (SPA) LNG Train 1 and Train 2 of Cheniere Energy's subsidiary, Inc., Corpus Christie Lifficiency, LCC or CCL.
