JCI Tuesday Afternoon Down 1.30 Percent To Level 3,937.63

JAKARTA - The Jakarta Composite Index (IHSG) on Tuesday, March 24 closed lower. JCI fell 1.30 percent or 51.89 points to a level of 3,937.63.

At the close of trading, as many as 183 stocks rose, 217 shares fell, and 138 stocks were stagnant. The trading volume was recorded at 6.55 billion shares and was transacted at IDR7.76 trillion.

The reference index is also almost all flushed. The LQ45 index fell 2.84 percent, the IDX30 fell 2.95 percent, the IDXBUMN20 fell 4.04 percent, and the SRI-KEHATI Index fell 3.09 percent.

This afternoon, stocks that were among the top gainers, including PT Metro Healthcare Indonesia Tbk (CARE) which rose 30.64 percent to Rp226, PT Wilton Makmur Indonesia Tbk (SQMI) which rose 27.17 percent to Rp220, and PT Indofarma Tbk (INAF) which strengthened 24.82 percent to Rp880.

Meanwhile, among the top losers included PT Bank Mandiri (Persero) Tbk (BMRI), which fell 6.99 percent to Rp3,860, PT Barito Pacific Tbk (BRPT), which fell 6.94 percent to Rp.456, and PT Perusahaan Gas. Negara (Persero) Tbk which weakened 6.92 percent to Rp605.
