JAKARTA - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) emphasized his decision to inaugurate three deputy ministers of the Advanced Indonesia Cabinet aimed at smoothing the transition to the future government.
He made this statement when responding to the public opinion that the appointment of the three deputy ministers was deemed not important because this was nearing the end of Jokowi's administration.
"This is to smooth out, smooth sustainability (government program). That's all," said President Jokowi as quoted by ANTARA, Friday, July 19.
Jokowi also rejected the issue of the inauguration of the wamen, two of whom were Gerindra Party cadres led by the elected president Prabowo Subianto, related to the division of positions.
