The Perpetrator Of Sodomy 10 Children In Lobar NTB Was Arrested By The Police

JAKARTA - A suspect in a sexual violence case in West Nusa Tenggara with the initials SA (20) was revealed to have sodomized 10 children.

Head of the Sub-Directorate of Youth, Children, Women (Renakta) of the NTB Police Criminal Investigation Unit AKBP Ni Made Pujawati emphasized that the number of victims from the immoral act of the suspect SA was revealed from the results of the examination.

"From the suspect's confession, it was only that much (10 children)," said Made as quoted by ANTARA, Thursday, July 18.

He confirmed that investigators are currently investigating the suspect's statement to prove the existence of other victims from the results of the disclosure of the case that occurred on Tuesday (25/6).

Made conveyed that the sodomy case of children on June 25, 2024, which named SA as a suspect occurred at one of the General Fuel Filling Stations (SPBU) in the West Lombok area (Lobar0.

In this action, the suspect carried out the modus operandi by asking the 12-year-old victim to take him to Sakra, East Lombok Regency, with a salary of Rp. 50,000.

The victim who received the offer then took the suspect. After going to East Lombok, the suspect again asked the victim to take him to the Pemenang area, North Lombok Regency.

Arriving at night at around 23.00 WITA, their journey ended at the scene. The suspect asked the victim to take a break at the gas station in the West Lombok area.

Tired, the victim fell asleep at the gas station rest area. This condition was then used by the suspect to act.

The victim again carried out immoral acts against the victim when he woke up from sleep. The victim went to the gas station bathroom and the suspect followed him from behind.

"When in the bathroom of the gas station, the suspect is still doing his actions," he said.

From the results of the examination, it was also revealed that there was a reason the suspect committed such an act against the child.

"He admitted that he had been a victim of sodomy when he was in grade 6 elementary school," he said.

The suspect named a man from Sakra, East Lombok Regency. The man was called a suspect as the reason he committed same-sex immoral acts.

Now the suspect SA is languishing in the NTB Police Detention Center. Investigators have named SA as a suspect who is suspected of violating Article 81 paragraph (1) and paragraph (2) in conjunction with Article 76D and/or Article 82 paragraph (1) in conjunction with Article 76E of the Republic of Indonesia Law Number 17 of 2016 concerning Stipulation of Government Regulation in Lieu of Law no. 1 of 2016 concerning the Second Amendment to Law no. 23 of 2002 concerning Child Protection and/or Article 6C of Law no. 12 of 2022 concerning Criminal Acts of Sexual Violence.
