4 People Prevented From Going Abroad Regarding Allegations Of Corruption At PT ASDP

JAKARTA - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has asked the Directorate General of Immigration at the Ministry of Law and Human Rights (Kemenkumham) to prevent four people from leaving the country for six months. This effort was carried out in relation to the alleged corruption in cooperation at PT ASDP Indonesia Ferry (Persero) which is being handled.

KPK spokesman Tessa Mahardika said this prevention was submitted through Decree Number 887 of 2024 which was signed on July 11.

"Regarding the investigation of the case, on July 11, 2024, the KPK has issued a decree," Tessa told reporters at the KPK's Merah Putih building, Kuningan Persada, South Jakarta, Thursday, July 18.

Tessa detailed that four people were prevented, one was a private party with the initials A. While the other three were ASDP internal parties, namely HMAC, MYH, and IP, said the spokesman with the investigator's background.

The KPK asked that prevention be carried out on the grounds of launching an investigation process. "The prohibition of traveling abroad applies for the next six months," said Tessa.

Dalam kasus ini, KPK menduga ada praktik lancung saat perusahaan pelat merah tersebut melaksanakan kerja sama dengan PT Jembatan Nusantara. Dugaan ini disebut terjadi pada 2019-2022.

Meanwhile, the Director of Investigation of the KPK, Asep Guntur, said that there had been confiscations in this case. "This case with ASDP has made forced efforts," he told reporters.

"There are three cars and others," continued Asep.

As for this case, the KPK summoned two witnesses on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. They are former VP of Corporate Planning of PT ASDP for 2021-2022, Alwi Yusuf and Wing Antariksa who are HR Directors of PT ASDP 2017-2019.
