Jonggol Police Chief Kompol Wagiman revealed that based on the statements of the victim's neighbors, the two elderly died due to illness. "The two elderly only lived alone, husband and wife. According to witness statements, his wife had suffered a long stroke and her husband was also elderly," said Wagiman, July 17. The discovery of Hans Tomasoa's body (83) and Rita Tomasoa (73) was reported by the community around Tuesday. The community was forced to dismantle the door of the victim's house because the curiosity of the occupants had not been seen for a long time. Moreover, said Wagiman, the community had also smelled an unpleasant smell around the victim's house since last Saturday. "After opening, it was found that the husband and wife were already dead, then the RT chairman contacted the Jonggol Police," said Wagiman.

Based on the residents' reports, Wagiman directly led his members to conduct a crime scene (TKP) and evacuate the victim's body to the Cileungsi Regional General Hospital (RSUD) for examination. "The family has accepted this incident as a disaster and the bodies of the husband and wife have been handled by the hospital and have been properly buried by the church and their families," he said.
