JAMBI - Police are still investigating the cause of a local university student who committed suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of the Mahligai Bank Jambi building.

A woman jumped from the 12th floor of the Mahligai Bank Jambi building in Telanaipura District. The victim with the initials SAS came from North Lubuk Linggau and has the status of a state university student in Jambi.
The incident began on Sunday (14/7) at around 19.20 WIB, the victim came alone on a motorbike and then climbed into a cafe on the 12th floor of the Mahligai building.
From CCTV, the victim was seen sitting alone, then around 21.20 WIB, the victim looked nervous and looked back at the view, namely towards the edge of the 12th floor building.

Together with other security guard picket colleagues then went up to the 12th floor and informed cafe employees, there was a woman who allegedly fell from the top floor.
The two cafe employees confirmed that the victim previously sat alone in a cafe on the 12th floor of the Mahligai Bank Jambi building.
The cafe employee admitted that he did not see the incident because the victim was sitting in the outside of the cafe.
From the investigation, the victim with the initials SAS was suspected of committing suicide by jumping from the 12th floor of the Mahligai Bank Jambi building.
When members came to the location, the victim was already dead face down.
