The Perpetrator Of The Confinement In Duren Sawit Threatens To Sell The Victim's Kidney

Investigators from the East Jakarta Metro Police Criminal Investigation Unit (Satreskrim) conducted a re-investigation of the case of confinement and torture experienced by a young man with the initials MRR (23) at a cafe in the Duren Sawit area, East Jakarta, a few months ago.

From the results of the examination of the MRR victim, it was found a new fact that apart from experiencing a number of tortures carried out by the perpetrators, the MRR victim was also forced to sell her kidney by the perpetrator.

Muhamad Normansyah, as the attorney for the victim MRR, confirmed the threat of selling kidney by the perpetrator.

"From a series of BAPs that I participated in, it turned out that there was a moment when the MRR victim was told to sell a kidney. It's ironic that we listen to it, especially from the victim," said Normansyah when confirmed by VOI, Sunday, July 14.

Normansyah explained that the perpetrator was forced to sell the kidney by the perpetrators to MRR to cover the transaction money between the perpetrator and the victim for the business debt of buying and selling cars.

"Because the remaining amount of the transaction itself is Rp. 100 million, but from the perpetrator's side, it is suspected that he asked for extortion of up to Rp. 300 million," he said.

Even coercion in selling the victim's kidney MRR at the request of the perpetrators.

"Yes, that's right, the sale of the kidneys was based on the advice and pressure of the perpetrators," he said.

In addition, in the investigation carried out by the East Jakarta Metro Police, there was also an additional article on the perpetrators of violence.

"Since the delegation to the police, there have indeed been an additional 3 articles. Previously it was only confinement, now it is added to confiscation, persecution. This time the BAP is to complete all the chronology of cases like that," he said.

For their actions, the perpetrators will be charged with multiple articles, namely 333 of the Criminal Code, Article 365 of the Criminal Code, Article 170 of the Criminal Code and Article 351 of the Criminal Code.
