NasDem Officially Supports Ariza-Marshel In The South Tangerang Regional Head Election

JAKARTA - The NasDem Party DPP officially carried Ahmad Riza Patria and Marshel Widianto to fight in the South Tangerang or South Tangerang Pilwalkot contestation.

The support was officially given through the Election Winning Body (Bappilu) of the NasDem Party DPP by submitting a letter of recommendation to both of them.

"In this case, the DPP NasDem Party has again issued recommendations for candidates for Mayor and Deputy Mayor of South Tangerang, Banten Province to brothers Ahmad Riza Patria and Marchel Widianto," said Deputy Secretary General of the NasDem Party, Jakfar Sidik, quoted on Saturday, July 13.

Ariza is one of the famous figures of politicians in the country who served as Deputy Governor of DKI Jakarta from April 15, 2020 to October 16, 2022. Previously he was also trusted by the public to sit in the parliament of the DPR RI for two terms, namely 2014 2019 and 2019 2024.

Meanwhile, Marshel Widianto is a Komika (Stand up Comedian) who started his career in the Indonesian entertainment industry through a comedy competition.

Marshel has stepped into his career from the bottom to the top 20 of the third season Stand Up Comedy Academy (SUCA) competition, Marshel has now succeeded in becoming a comedian and has made his debut as an actor.

The daily chairman of the Gerindra DPP, Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, said that both of them were qualified figures. Riza Patria and Marshel are considered as figures who can meet the expectations of the people in the city.

"These two people are the right figures to meet the expectations of most of the South Tangerang people who want progress," said Dasco.
