Two 20 Kg Of Methamphetamine Dealers In Pagedangan Turned Out To Be The Same Case Recidivist

The police arrested two perpetrators who were suspected of distributing crystal methamphetamine packaged in Chinese tea weighing 20 kilograms (Kg). The Director of Drugs at the Polda Metro Jaya, Kombes Donald Parlaungan Simanjuntak, said the two perpetrators with the initials H (45) and AS (77), were arrested on Jalan Cicayur 1, Pagedengan, Tangerang Regency, Thursday, July 11.

Donald also explained that this case was revealed from reports from residents who were aware of drug transactions in their area.

On that basis, the police conducted an investigation until they finally arrested the two perpetrators in a rented Pagedangan area, Tangerang Regency.

"Kia dapat informasi bahwa kedua pelaku akan melakukan transaksi narkoba jenis sabu sehingga tadi petugas kita dari Direktorat Reserse dari PMJ (Polda Metro Jaya) melakukan penangkapan di lokasi," kata Donald di kawasan Pagedangan, Kabupaten Tangerang, Kamis, 11 Juli.

He added that apart from arresting the perpetrators, his party also confiscated evidence in the form of drugs wrapped in Chinese tea.

"If we look at this one pack, it weighs approximately 1 kilogram. So if the total is approximately 20 kilograms," he said.

Based on the initial examination, the two perpetrators turned out to be recidivist of the same case. They have even been in the detention room three times.

"If the confession is temporary, the person concerned has been in and out of the detention center 3 times and we are still investigating it first," he said

Currently, the two perpetrators have been taken to Polda Metro Jaya for questioning.
